
Pichai Sundararajan or Sundar Picha (Indian-American business executive) is more well-known. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google.Born in Madurai in India, Pichai graduated at IIT Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering. He was awarded an M.S. in the United States following his move to the United States. He earned a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University. He also completed an MBA from Wharton School of Pennsylvania. After a brief stint at McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. At Google, he was responsible for the creation of Google Drive, and for the management of products and innovations. Pichai also oversaw the creation of Google Maps, Gmail, and other applications. Pichai introduced WebM in 2010 and announced open-sourcing the new codec for video VP8 by Google. In 2012, the Chromebook was released. In 2013, Pichai added Android to the list of Google products he oversees.
