Aahoo Jahansouzshahi January 10, 1980) popularly referred to as Sarah Shahi is an American model and actress. She played the role of actress played Carmen in The L Word 2005. Kate Reed, USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-12), and Sameen Shaw in the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012)-2016. She also played the role of Det. Dani Reese is a character in the show Life[3] as well as Alias. The actress was also an actor in Reverie in the year 2018. She was a frequent character in the show City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[5[5]. She also appeared in seven episodes on The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic interest Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women In Texas. There, she was advised to make the move to Hollywood and was offered roles in Alias as well as Dawson's Creek. In 2005, she took on the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales as a supporting character on The L Word. She became a part of it during its second season. Shahi's two-year contract with the show was not renewed following the conclusion of season four and her character was cut from the show.
