Amber Benson is a talented American actress who has worked as a performer, writer as well as director and producer. Most famously, she is best known for her role in her role in the TV drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also produced, directed and appeared in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she was a part of Kiss the Bride. Benson was the child born on January 8th 1977, of Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Benson has a younger sister Danielle, who has a career as an artist. Benson was a member of the Reform Jewish synagogue as she grew up. Her mother was a Southern Baptist and raised Jewish by her father, is too Jewish. Benson is a performer featured in a variety of TV and film series in the years since Buffy was over, most notably The Killing Jar. In the background Benson also used her writing talent to create The Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010 she directed Drones.
