Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician as well as a composer. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions for the One Direction band. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where, with three other students, he created his musical group, White Eskimo. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they were winners. He was always interested in music but also wanted to work as the profession of a lawyer, physiotherapist, or even a scout. He was employed at the local bakery for a few hours to help his family financially. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) during the auditions in 2010 to The X Factor. This is why his band split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation took place in the year 2010 and the five young people were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The group performed the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky Without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart at the time of the contest. This allowed them to become the leading contenders to win the competition. They came third in front of Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't place, but Cowell did pay $2 million to One Direction for them to agree to a contract with Syco.
